Ah Bejeweled Blitz, the game I hate to love. I guess I started on this madness a couple of months ago. I was invited by our own beloved candyhart from GeekDrop. After a few times I thought it was dumb but couldn't help but keep playing and to this day I am still playing and still trying to beat her score and someone elses *cough DoGG cough*. The purpose of the game is to make different colored jewels disappear by moving them around and matching them up. Get three of the same type in a row and they disappear, get four of the same type and you create a power gem, create five of the same and you get a hyper ball, swap the hyper ball with any color gem and it makes all that particular color disappear. Each game lasts one minute long. The game is played in tournaments which last for a week or two? I'm not sure how long exactly, then your score returns to zero and you start over. There are prizes to be won, I'm not sure what they are because I never qualified, but I hear they're not too shabby.

At first I didn't think there was much technique to it except for speed and eye coordination and well a little bit of luck. Lately I've changed my mind, I'm beginning to think there's more to it, although I'm not sure what I don''t Know My highest score, achieved today, is 91,800. So who else here plays Bejeweled Blitz? Do you have a special technique that you want to share? Has anyone reached over 100K or even 200K? Whistling Tell us your secret here! Big Grin
