Re: President Obama's Speech To The Kids

I heard some of it, I thought it was ok, it was motivational, but then again kids probably didn't think it was, he talked about hard work, achievement, and how nothing comes easy etc etc. Most kids don't want to hear that. I think kids need to have respect for the President whether they agree with him or not. I mean I wasn't a huge Bush fan but I would have never thrown a shoe at him Laughing I wouldn't get mad at my son if he walked out but I suppose he'd have to suffer the consequences of what the school imposes on such an action like that.

Just when you thought things couldn't get any stupider, schools across the nation decided to censor President Obama's speech urging kids to work hard because "being successful is hard."
