it's funny--i used to love this show. and it's weird...i used to think Kate was a control-freak and felt badly for Jon. BUT the more i thought about it, listen she has 8 kids...you have to rely heavily on routine and things being a certain way or else it will turn into complete and utter chaos.
when Jon had his mid-life crisis or whatever, i lost all respect for him. he's basically a wanna-be playboy now. inviting the babysitter over to sneak in and spend the night in his bed while his children are sleeping? sleeping with every ho-bag around? jetting off to france to be with {one of} his 'lover'{s}? going to big-shot parties (including VMA afterparties, the Hamptons, etc), college parties, donning his big stupid cubic zirconia earring? creating that ficticious story about kate and her married bodyguard and getting joy out of the press running with it?
he's only "rescinding" the divorce to look like the good guy to the courts because now it's up to Kate to say no to him. That quote he said was completely fed to him by his attorneys bc the court won't question his motives, they'll only see that he made that move to reconcile. Oh i had my little tantrum and freak-out about being married and having kids, and i've shamed my wife 100x over and slept around but now, nooow i want to "join on a cooperative course that would benefit our family"... wth is that? i don't believe it for a second. if he was being honest about wanting to reconcile he would've said "i realize the error of my ways and i am still in love with Kate and want to make it work, for us and for our children."
Don't get me wrong i would love nothing more to see this family whole again, but there's just no way Jon is genuine about it here.
And don't get me wrong again, I don't agree with everything Kate has done or their 8 kids being on a reality show. But that would be another 3 paragraphs...
