So last night around 12:30am I head to bed and I'm dragging. Well I walk by the living room and I hear my cat making this really strange deep howling noise. I flip on the light to see a tree frog stuck to the wall way up high. OK not a little one but this sucker was the size of my hand - HUGE!

It looked like this but this is not it - it was much bigger!!!!

So I'm thinking if I wake the hubby he will say I'll get it in the morning and I know he wont get it tonight. There is NO WAY in hell I'm going to bed with this thing in my house. So off to wake middle kid up who I know will get it (my mini hunter). Middle kid comes out looks at it stuck to the wall about 14' in the air (cathedral ceilings). So he gets the broom and he knocks the frog which then falls on top of my china cabinet. So once again son flings the frog with the broom in a swooping like motion (scoop and fling) and where does the frog go but straight at me. I was hit by the flying frog. Oh yeah I'm freaking out and flying backwards hands flailing like a wild crazy woman and screaming. My son is now on the floor in tears laughing. The frog goes under the sofa the cats (the second cat is now in on the action) go into hunt mode. Needless to say in the end the son throws a towel over it and tosses it outside.

Try going to sleep after you have been hit with a flying frog - tis not easy!
