Has anyone seen it first in 3D and second in 2D? Smartmom, I wonder how much your opinion was influenced by viewing order. It seems natural to like a movie best the first time one sees it, when it's completely fresh and new.
I saw it in IMAX 3D last night with my family and loved it. Even though the 3D experience was truly fabulous and worthwhile, I did notice significant size and curvature distortions. I want to see it again and am leaning toward 2D as a way to absorb the rest of what this incredible film has to offer.
