As a former Comcast customer I can't tell you how much they annoyed me with the fact that I paid for internet service yet they felt the right to throttle me. Well I wasn't the only one annoyed, but so was the FCC Chairman, that customers were paying for "Unlimited Service" yet they were not getting it.

Well enough was enough and along came a class action lawsuit against Comcast Cable. The case is coming close to a end and as of now it looks like the total settlement will be 16 million dollars and no admittance of wrong doing. OK that is fine and dandy but what does that mean to ME? Well basically if you were a customer of Comcast during the summer of 2007 then you can file a claim to a share of the money (which is about $16.00) or you can opt out. So where do you go to file or opt out? You can go here: HART v. COMCAST SETTLEMENT

Ok you're rolling your eyes - only $16.00 why bother? I'll admit I did that at first then I got to thinking, why not. Hey I had to put up with Comcast's Crappy service they should pay. Yes its not much but hey it buys me lunch out. Its also the point - they need to pay and for once let them be annoyed.
