Ok so I think I found the ultimate gadget. Its called Computer Status and it just does that, it shows you your computer status. Here is what I'm talking about - this now sits on my desk top:

When you click on the areas it takes you there. If you click on the RAM it will open task manager, click on the HD's and it opens the hard drives. Plus it shows you in a snap shot how much room you have and what you have used. On a laptop it will give you your battery stats. I this widget! Oh it has a radio built into it too Smile

Oh and its FREE!
