I just got a couple more notices that friends tagged me in photos, even though they don't have any photos of me to tag me in. The link to the app looks like this:

The "user=" has what looks like two friend id's, the second one is the friend id of the person who sent you the notice, the first one is staying the same, except for the last 4 digits. I tried going to the profile id manually just to see what it was by adding it to the end of this:

But it just redirects me to my home page. Strange stuff.
