If you can hear the motor turning, but the wheels no longer move, it's most likely a broken gear box. I just dis-assembled the gear box in one of ours that broke and found that the smallest of the three gears inside was broken in several pieces. Each of the gears is critical to making the wheels turn.
I've e-mailed the company to see if they will do anything directly (like ship me just a replacement gear box) or maybe a new motor/gearbox assembly. If nothing else, at least they know about this problem.
