This week on facebook the viral trend is "Doppelganger week". Here's the viral status message people are pasting to their statuses:

Quote:

"It's Doppelgänger week on Facebook; change your profile picture to someone famous (actor, musician, athlete, etc.) you have been told you look like. After you update your profile with your twin or switched at birth photo then cut/paste this to your status."

Most people take the opportunity to put up a self-complimentary picture of some celebrity that they only slightly resemble IF they point out to you that's who they say they have been "told" they look like. Otherwise you'd have never put the 2 together on your own. I can't begin to tell you how many girls have put up Jennifer Aniston, when they look nothing like her. Or Eric Dane (is he considered hot?), Channing Tatum, and so on.

Word around the campfire is that it borders on breaking the Facebook TOS because you're not technically allowed to put up any picture that infringes a copyright, or whatever..... so if you put up that picture of Megan Fox, trying to say you look like her, you're supposedly breaking the Facebook TOS. However, to date, we haven't heard of a single person getting the facebook hook.

If ya need some help, there are websites available that claim to pinpoint your celebrity twin. One of them is called "FaceDouble". After playing with it, I've noticed you can get completely different results simply by moving the crosshairs used to target each eye, just a little bit.

Here's another website to help ya out. Have fun!
