Here is what they are saying on my one private torrent about it:
utorrent 2.0 has a new thingy (id call it a bug) called utp. utp is a sort of "management" protocol for bt. It also includes an automatic speed limiter based upon latency.
Now heres the bad thing. if your using this new utp. linux seedboxes will have trouble connecting to you. (big problem). the even bigger problem is, you guessed it. utorrent utp doesnt play nicely with any other clients. So effectivly this will create *2* swarms. a swarm of utp utorrent 2.0 clients and well the *others* orphans...
What we are saying is that because it is not on the allowed list, because it is banned you cannot use it here at XXXX in fact there are very few if any places that are secure that will let you lose it.
It is a long way from being fully tested and the reports being received back so far across the torrent scene do not look at all promising in regards it being approved anywhere in the near future. To use XXXX you will need to use another client or an earlier version as what you are using is going to show you as not seeding and will course you problems both with hit and runs's and future down and uploads.
It is not that it is just not an approved client.. it is a banned client.
