The U.S. Court of Appeals just ruled against the FCC in Net Neutrality. This is a HUGE set back for us the consumers. So how dose this affect you? Well your internet service provider can now throttle away on your internet and there is nothing you can do about it. This case started off with the FCC going after Comcast cable for throttling their customers who use BitTorrents. Ok your thinking good crack down on the pirates. Well think again they were just given the green light to throttle anything they want. You may be paying for highspeed but now they can pick and choose what you are getting high speed and what you are not. Think about it want to use Skype? Why should they the ISP allow you to when they are peddling their own phone service? I'm sure with this rulling we will see our services go down hill.

This was a huge win for Comcast. They stated that the FCC did not have the right to enforce this "net neutrality".

According to the AP "With so much at stake, the FCC now has several options. It could ask Congress to give it explicit authority to regulate broadband. Or it could appeal Tuesday's decision to the Supreme Court.

So what are your thoughts on this?
