Thats why when someone shows me their PC and it has McAfee Anti-Virus or Norton ! I tell them I need to delete those programs first ! If they say No I tell them they are SOL to find someone else to help them ! I dont support Shotty Antivirus software so I recommend NOD32 & AVG for a free one ! Avast! is not too bad either !

McAfee & Norton has always sucked that why the market gives it away on all new laptops, Some people say they like one or the other , but the fact is they really dont understand how they work if they say that ! I bet you uninstall either one and put AVG or Avast! on the system instead (explain to them they are free) The run CCleaner and show them the performance difference they will be Shocked ! Truely Shocked !

ONE MORE NOTE: Some people think more is better not when it come to antivirus software NEVER install more than one antivirus software they will not work in pairs !

Now you can install spyware, Malware and antivirus software ( depending on the programs ) in 99% of cases and have no problems at all.
