Trapster is an application for getting speed trap alerts on your Blackberry, iPhone, Nokia, Android, Windows Mobile, Palm Pre, Garmin, or TomTom device. We crowdsource speed traps from across the globe, so you can avoid unnecessary speeding tickets.

Trapster is all free. All you have to do is open an account with them, download the Trapster app to your cell, log in from your cell, either manually find your location or Trapster will do a search and find you. When your driving Trapster will alert you as to where red light camera's are, speed traps and many other bits of helpful information.

You can also send in alerts to Trapster by just touching your cell phone at the location of where you saw that red light camera or speed trap.

I downloaded Trapster to my cell, the installation was very easy, and I was up and running a few minutes. I live in a big city with many red light camera's and speed traps and this looks like it could come in very handy and save me some money on tickets.
