Re: Want to delete .dll files..any ideas how to do that ??

Maybe this will help you Luca

  • Find the E-Greetings.exe DLL files you need to delete: Open your Windows Start menu & then click "Run", (Shortcut is the Windows Key + R).
  • Type "cmd" in the Run field, & then click the OK button.
  • For Windows 7, just type "regedit" in the "Search programs and files" box in the Windows start menu.
  • To change your current directory in the Command (cmd) window, type "cd" in the command window, press your "Space" key, & type in the full directory path where the E-Greetings.exe DLL file is located. If you're not sure if the E-Greetings.exe DLL file is located in a particular directory, type "dir" in the command window to display a directory's list of files and folders. To go one directory up, type "cd .." in the command window & press the "Enter" key.
  • Once you've found the E-Greetings.exe DLL file you want to remove, type "regsvr32 /u ExampleDLLName.DLL" (i.e., "regsvr32 /u egreetings.DLL") and press your "Enter" key.

All done! If you ever need to restore any E-Greetings.exe DLL file that you removed, just repeat the steps above, but type "regsvr32 deleted.DLL" instead (i.e., “regsvr32 egreetings.DLL”) into the command window, and hit the "Enter" key.

Hope that helps!
