Single & Not Looking
What a lovely story! I find that most people who are parents themselves are quite understanding of situations like this. One time I was a girlfriends house with my then 4 yr old. We had stayed for dinner, and she had served broccoli as part of the meal. Now my son loves broccoli but he likes it crispy and green (no pun intended
) My friend had pretty much overcooked hers and it was really soft and kinda brown. So when son o' mine tastes it he says out loud "ewww this broccoli is disgusting, it's not cooked the way you do it mom, what happened to it". So of course my girlfriend just laughed out loud while I sat there red faced
and apologizing. She completely understood I guess because her daughter was also 4.
