So... you're officially a Dropper, and you wanna start posting all kinds of cool threads, and wish a Happy Birthday to your fellow droppers? But you don't know how to post that perfect birthday picture you've picked out? Well let's work that out for you!

First of all, you'll need to find that perfect picture. When you do, go save it to your Photobucket
(Photobucket tutorial Here)

Once in Photobucket you want to copy the direct link address:

Once you have that copied to your clipboard, go start your thread... when you get to the part where you'd like to post your picture... click your cursor where you want it, and then clicky the image button on the toolbar:
That will cause a pop-up box to magically appear. In that pop-up you want to paste your direct link in the spot that says URL, and you'll see your image pop up in the preview box. (Just ignore all the jibberish after your preview, it won't show up in your picture!)

Hit OK, and Voila! Your picture is now in your post!

You may want to resize your pic, which is also super easy. After hitting OK, you can click on your picture and resize it by dragging the corners in or out. Once you have it resized to the size you want, you must hit the Image button again. Your preview will now show the resized picture, no need to do anything except hit OK again. (yeah I dunno why, but that's how it works *shrugs*)

If you'd like to center your newly posted picture to make it look all nice & peeerrrrty (which we prefer here on GeekDrop Smile ), simply click on your picture then hit the "center Justify button"

If you're not sure how to use Photobucket, or you'd rather not take the time to upload your pic there, you can easily post any picture from the internet without doing so. Right click on any picture on the web, click properties, then highlight "location". You would then use this link instead of the "direct link" I showed you from Photobucket to paste in the URL box!
CONGRATULATIONS!

You've just posted a picture! Applause Now go forth and post!

Side note: If you're a Premium Member, you can also save and post pictures through Personal Files. Click here to find out how!
