If you're a AutoHotkey user, and you hate that it opens plain ol' vanilla Notepad.exe whenever you click on one of it's "Edit" / "Edit this Script" menu items, and want to use your own preferred text editor instead whenever you click the Edit link, you can do so.
It involves editing the registry by hand a bit, but to make it a whole lot quicker'n easier, I've already whipped up an AHK script to do it for you.
Just run it as Admin (that's important, since it's editing the registry); it'll give you a Browse for File dialog. Just browse to the .exe text editor of your choice and it'll replace Notepad with your favorite editor whenever you click on any AHK Edit link.
BTW, If you need a nice, fast-loading, text editor that resembles Notepad but has some nice bonus features plus syntax highlighting, give Notepad2-Mod a try. For quick n' dirty editing or viewing, it's my favorite.
Script is attached to this post!
