The H1N1 vaccine made by GlaxoSmithKline has been recalled for some of its batches distributed in Canada that have caused life threatening allergic reactions.

There have been reportedly over 7.5 million doses of this batch distributed in Canada.

"GSK is taking this cautionary action because the Public Health Agency of Canada has received a higher than expected number of reports of anaphylaxis in this lot number compared to other lots," the company said in a written statement Thursday.
