How many of us haven't put our iPod, Zune, what have you, in our pants pockets at one point or another? Welp, may want to rethink that! That's exactly what a teenager in Ohio did and he ended up with 2nd degree burns after his iPod Touch exploded in his pants. *giggles* Okay, okay it's really not funny in all honesty. It's not. But some of the headlines made me laugh a l

Time Berners-Lee is the person credited with "inventing the internet". What a brilliant man! Well his own invention bit him in the foot when he was a victim of online fruad while tring to purchase a Christmas present through an online store. The store he tried to purchase from wasn't even a real store, it was completely fake.
I know that this is not a funny story at all, but when you consider who it happened to... It does make me giggle a little.

So who has ever heard of cybersquatting? Its when someone profits off of another. Like say there is a young upcoming actor, maybe a preteen or someone on one of those reality shows like American Idol. Lets say that American Idol starts up and new comer "Mary Jane" is on it. Well cybersquater Bobby Jo quick buys the domain for maryjane.com. Now Mary Jane wins and becomes famous. Well Bobby Jo bought the domain from GoDaddy
.com for 9.99 but now wants to sell it to Mary Jane who really wants it but the cost now is 100K. That is cybersquatting.

Ok, It was a tough call on where to put this thread.... I settled on News, but if someone thinks it belongs in hardware... lemme know
So, a software developer was in a pretty nasty motorcycle accident, causing him to lose a finger. They fitted him for a prosthetic finger, but he had a request... add a "thumb" drive to his finger!
I know you're asking, WHAT? Yep! His FINGER has a built in Flash Drive! I have an incredible urge to suggest he change his name to Neo for some strange reason

I'm still deciding if this is uber geeky, or uber creepy...

Ok so if the thought of them handing out 165 Million dollars in bonuses was bad enough this really aggravated me to no end.....
Billions of American taxpayer dollars used to bailout insurance giant AIG are flowing to some of the largest foreign banks in the world, according to new documents released by beleaguered company Sunday.

So with so many websites tracking and gathering data what do they do with that data? Who is watching your every move on the web? Are you one who goes in and either dumps your cookies/cache and your personal data? Did you even know that you can do that? Doing that will remove some of the information that some websites can gather on you.

So when does your privacy end and Internet security begin? Do online sites such as Google have the right to snag your info to send particular advertisers your way?
SAN FRANCISCO (Reuters) - Google Inc will begin to aim online ads at people based on their Web browsing history, joining an industry trend that has raised privacy concerns even as it makes product pitches more effective.

I was dropping my kids off at school this morning to be welcomed by @ 400+ Teachers, Aides and famiy holding picket signs. They were calling out "Pinks for Politicians not teachers" Their signs read the following:

In China police stop sleepy drivers, and make them eat raw chili peppers. Claims it makes them "more alert".
It's a small article, but you can read it HERE
Anyone think it's a good idea? Or have any "wake up at the wheel" tips that you use?
Personally, I'm a "jam to the ridiculously loud music with cold air in my face" type a girl.
