So this Sunday is the 2009 Emmy Awards. Normally this event would come and go and I wouldn't give it a fleeting thought. However this year is exciting for me. My cousin Alan is being nominated for his documentary film called "Home". Alan has worked on this project for several years while he lived in New York. He has worked hard to earn this nomination (see page 16) and it's finally paid off for him. So this Sunday I'll be sitting tight with fingers crossed wishing all the good luck to go his way. Let's shoot some good karma to Alan.

I am so happy and excited to let you all know that Alan won last night for "Best Writing" category! All his hard work has paid off and this will surely open many other doors for him!!
