i use this site for email receipt verification. i sent an email out and received a reply but the tracker didnt pick up that it was read. i know if you enter the email address wrong or view source it will not show as being opened but is there any other blocker or way around it out there?

Not sure really - I would like to know myself. Great question! 
readnotify.com is another email tag - shows
a map (not always correct on the map) ~
gives time and date opened and how many times, even if forwarded
and opened by a different person

I am going to have to look into readnotify.com I have wanted to know how often certain emails of mine sent for a specific reason are read. Thanks!

my user review of readnotify. 
'readnotify' didn't work for me.
i signed up with one email address, sent an email to another email address of mine. read the email. checked readnotify's status which said "Opened? Not yet." Read it again, checked, same. Waited 2 days, still said "Not yet." 
I never had that happen to me, not sure what it could be doing that. I would email the site and explain the situation ... I would have said maybe the person didn't open it, but since you tested it out (which was a good idea) ~ I am not sure what could be wrong. I am sorry I didnt have an answer for you.
