Take a little walk with me, it'll be worth it...

Go to Privacy Settings under the Settings toolbar up at the top.

Now click on Applications

Now you'll get something that looks like this. Click on Settings.

And WHOA! take a look at all that stuff that you are sharing with anyone who can gain access to your stuff through the app! If you know anything about Facebook loopholes, you know that your information can be compromised through Apps.

I quickly unchecked everything, and checked the last two boxes in the lower part of the page. Don't forget to click Save Changes!
