New pop up box today on Myspace asking yes or no to add first and last name for members to see. I was in a hurry and almost said yes. ahhh well, just a heads up that if you do choose to add your full name it will be displayed under your default picture for all the world to see. If you have been wondering what your targets last name is go check out their page. Maybe they too were in too big of a hurry to read the pop up box this morning too.

One of my accounts got the message several days ago, the other got it today. You might get yours at another time.
Got mine today. I said "no"; didn't check to see if there was a way to change the option later.
I also noticed when looking at someone else's page that there was a "see more" option under their status. I clicked it but there wasn't any more to see...

This I did notice, and yep you're right, there was nothing else to see. I got kinda excited because it was a private profile, but I was quickly disappointed. What's with that?
EDIT: I just checked it again, it seems like the "view more" is just a way to redirect you to the status and mood widget. bummer !
Well it does work. I have a few thousand freinds on my profile (hey I play mobsters) so I clicked on a few. If they update their status and mood often you see it. I found one so here is a example of what you will see.

edit: I dont have the status and mood widget - so even if you don't if they have updates you can see them :-)
Oh yeah, but hasn't that been there for a while? i thought what they're doing is trying to promote the widget, its a little further down the page to the right.
So does it only work for your friends? The person I tried it on was a private non-friend profile. Or does it only work for people who have the wigdet installed? Not like it's really a big deal since status updates can be viewed by anyone...
I tried it on a private non friend too, I think (and this is just my opinion) its just a ploy to redirect you to promote the new widget. I don't really get it, cos like you say you can see all friend status's anyway. Maybe i'm missing something here.
