ok so this has been making me nuts since I got my Android phone. I want to KEEP all of my own Facebook events in my calendar BUT NOT have all of the birthdays of every friend on my list also automatically add themselves to my calendar, is this possible and if so can someone PLEASE show me how? I'd be forever in your debt!

OMG!Thanks a ton Autumn you are the best. I just asked at Verizon this week and they told me it couldn't be done, I was about to unsync all of Facebook just to get rid of all the birthdays, glad I checked here first!

I'm one who doesn't use my facebook much and I ended up with everything, contacts and info in my calender. I closed my facebook account hoping that would help but it didn't. I can now open my facebook account back up without having to worry about it interferring with my phone.

The steps didn't match because it is now 2015 but I kept at it using these basic directions and I was successful!! Thanks I just really disliked my whole calendar filled with birthdays.
Who's New
This will stop all Facebook friend's birthdays from automatically synching with your Android calendar, but I think it will also stop your Facebook events from synching. At the very least your Sense calendar won't be loaded with tons of unwanted birthdays!
Open the Calendar app..
Tap any day on the calendar..
Tap Menu..
Tap More..
Select calendars..
Uncheck FaceBook
Also, at least 1 calendar has to be selected.
