So if you haven't seen it here is the full video of the black 17 yr old girl being punched in the face by the white police officer. This is the FULL VIDEO not the mini clips you are seeing on the news:
Personally after watching the whole video and not the news clips I think the girls got off lucky and if I were the cop I would have tassered both of their azzes and been done with it. I think if you have two girls going after you that you have to do what you have to do. It was ONE punch had it been multiple punches then yes police brutality but I see this as the officer stopping the girls from fighting which they still did. I see it that they started it first and if the one girl didn't want to get punched then she shouldn't have started the fight because she was fighting the officer.
He was on the Today show and already saying its racal. See I would like to tazzer him!
See here's the thing....when cops are trying to do thier job they don't need eveyone elses opinion and people dancing all around them telling them how do thier job. I'm not a cop but I"m pretty sure that eveyone around there that was yelling at the cop could have almost been charged with obstruction of justice. Those girls got off easy the way i see it. If he asked them to stop they should have. They shouldn't have been trying to fight with the officer. He had a right to feel as if he were in danger and protect himself with those grils fighting with him as well as the stupid group of people cheering them on. Problem is a bunch of people running around with the attitude that the world owes them something and they can live above the law. They are lucky the didn't get tazed or pepper sprayed.
He was being physically attacked by an unruly crowd, and he was all by himself with no backup. He made an instinctual decision to hit her before she hit him, which in a split second he may have felt that was what was coming next from her, or them. He's a law enforcement officer, and they shouldn't have been attacking him or resisting arrest. So in my opinion he was totally wrong for punching her - what he should have done was grab her by the back of the head and knee her in the face instead.
If it were me, I wouldn't have even expended the energy fighting them like that, I'd have immediately freely dispersed tons of pepper spray, and maybe even get a couple whacks in with my nightstick for good measure. Maybe even a little duct tape for their obnoxious, disrespectful mouths, for making me waste all of those precious donut calories I've built up.
As far as Sharpton goes, I'm white, and I've even been physically threatened by cops, when I was younger and obnoxious. If I'd of resisted arrest at the time I can pretty much guarantee I'd have gotten a smack in the face by them too. It's how cops are, no matter what color you are. And I can't really say that I blame them, if I had to deal with that kind of crap all the time too.
Oh dogg you're the best - yeah the knee to the face would have been fun to watch. I think she got off easy!
With a crowd like that, ya gotta go in there like Rambo.
I think he did a great job actually. Even though he popped her in the chops, he still handled the situation alone, and pretty professionally. Ya gotta admit, being a lone cop, in a crowd like that, with that going on, you gotta have some huge moose cahones. Like our anon visitor mentioned, he could've easily had his gun taken, or been overwhelmed by the crowd and gotten his arse kicked bad, maybe even killed. You can see one punk hovering around him real close like he might be considering doing just that, as he's yelling obcenities at the cop. Possibly the only reason he didn't was because he saw everyone filming it and didn't want to be caught on tape murdering a cop. One of them was cool for helping out though, by trying to keep the one girl away, and then also pulling her away after she caught a well deserved haymaker to the mug.
If he was looking to just dish out some police brutality, he could've done a whole lot more than one punch, and kept on punching her, or more. She got exactly what was coming to her. And let that be a warning to anyone else who decides to pull that
,
. Again, like our anon visitor mentioned, when dealing with cops, just be respectful and comply, you'll save yourself (and everyone) alot of trouble.

Anyway, there will definitely be an uproar about this without a doubt, and every civil rights actiivist will crawl out from under the woodwork to shout about this. Al Sharpton where are you??
