can anyone tell me if there is a way to post to someone's wall so that they are the only one to see it? say for example STaRDoGG, i wanted to post something on your wall or maybe comment on one of your photos, is there something i can do to my settings where you are the only one to see that comment or wall post? i don't just mean my name not showing, i mean where nobody can even see the post or comment? know what i mean?

I don't think it's possible from your end of things. If you work in conjunction with the person who you're trying to post the secret posts and comments with, you may be able to get them to put you on a separate list and figure something out that way, by making certain things visible to certain groups of people, but I've never tried this out to know for sure. Someone else may know more about that than I.

actually you can Big Grin

If you click on the lock below the post pick "customize"

How to privately post on someone else's Facebook wall

Then pick "specific people" and type in the person you want to see it. Smile

How to privately post on someone else's Facebook profile

However I think you should post it so we can all see it Laughing

EDIT: That is you posting on your wall not on theirs. Like dogg said I don't think you can post on their wall in private.

Re: Private posting on someone's Facebook wall

I'm not sure that's the same effect as Autumn wants though. I'm pretty sure she wants to be able to post a comment on someone else's wall, and only the owner can see her comment. The change ya mentioned is for your own wall, and who can see the wall (I think). So if you change it to only a certain person, then no one else on your friends list will be able to see your wall, except for that friend you added.

That's why I was thinking if she collaborated (or "conspired?" Laughing ) with the person who's wall she wants top secret communications with, maybe playing with lists, and the feature like you mentioned, might work out the way she wants. I'm guessing that's how that works, though I haven't tried it much myself.

I think if you follow the steps of customizing from the lock icon (from your own wall) and type in the persons name. It will only change it for the current post your are doing. Afterwards it returns to default once you leave your page and return. After customizing to just allow that person. You will want to start typing there name in the feed box, it wll than auto full that persons name for you, than make your post. It will then show up on his/her wall but no one will be able to see.

The person and I want to know if you can post something in somebody wall and only that person can see it, your answer is like I post something in MY wall and only the persons I want can see it. See the difference?
