This heartbreaking tragedy happened about 10-15 miles from me. A woman travelling the wrong way down a parkway crashed head on into another car, killing herself, her 3 nieces aged 3, 5 and 7, her 2 yr old daughter plus the 3 guys in the other car. Well the report came back that she was drunk and high on marijuana. I am in complete shock at this, I was under the impression that maybe she'd had a brain aneurism. How can someone be so irresponsible to put a load of kids in the car under these conditions. It's just as well that she died, because she would have wanted to die if she had survived. The only survivor was her 5 yr old son who was also in the car. I'm speechless right now.

They had the husband on The Today show. I feel bad for him he is saying no way was she drinking or high that was not her. Its hard to fight it when they found a broken bottle of absolute vodka in the van. Now they are interviewing the other cars family who she hit head on who died (the two in the other car). Its sad they just don't understand how anyone could be drinking and on drugs while driving and with kids.
The whole story is just so sad any way you look at it.
