Well I just got back from up north. I had a blast but I will admit I froze my butt off! I was glad to get off the plane to my normal weather but sorry the vacation was over
Now back to life and well work...............

I voted for a tropical paradise... because rigth now, a warm sunny beach sounds AMAZING!
a vaca with friends.........and a beach somewhere would be ideal.
Give me the sun and sand anyday, a hotel on the beach, plenty of pina colada's and I'm a happy camper :-)

Well if you want to visit my house too then Palm Beach International but if you want me to pick you all up in the suburban on the way down to the keys then Miami International. The house in the keys is one hour south of Miami International but it is 10 min. north of Marathon airport. Now mind you that Marathon airport is a hole in the wall and the largest plane in and out is a puddle jumper that may seat 20 so Miami would be the best bet (and cheapest).
The house is in a resort called Hawks Cay - its not a time share but we privately own it so did I mention its FREEEEEEEEEEEE

We haven't planned the "BIG" summer trip. Not sure if we will do one since the kids are at that age of "but I don't want to go - I want to hang with my friends". I got to hear that some last year which pissed me off after dropping almost 20k to go to Alaska and cruise around *blah - kids suck some times*
Seriously we need to do a girls weekend in the keys - I'm telling you we would have a blast. We could spend the day in Key West.

August would work for me. I got a letter sent home yesterday that son of mine was nominated to attend a month long HAP (Higher Achievement Program) at Fordham Prep from June 22 to July 23. It will cost me (not that much) but it would be an honor for him to attend such a prestigious school, even for a month. He may not get chosen, but his principal seemed to think he should be nominated to apply anyway (only 3 in his class were nominated). I will know by May 1 if his application has been chosen. So depending on the outcome of that, it will determine my availability to go down there.
I'm thinking that if he got to attend, he may turn out to be a decent, smart, eligible, "one of the good guys left" kinda guy, that are so rare in this world... kinda like, eh lets say dogg???
