And bootleg versions suck. Don't ruin the experience by seeing it that way! At least for the first time. Unless it was a leaked actual copy but even still. this movie is so amazingly buitiful that it would be a shame to cheap out and not see it on the big screen first. Even if it's 2D!

I hope that after I die, people will say of me: "That guy sure owed me a lot of money.''

Oh I agree, generally the voice and the audio never match or you find a good one only to see someone get up in the theater to get thier popcorn Laughing. Yes this is a must see movie on the large screen for the first time. I'll buy this one on DVD for sure Big Grin

Re: AVATAR - 3D vs 2D

I've seen the 2D version and am going to c the 3D 1 tomorrow, i enjoyed the movie so much 1 went sr8 to the computer store and bought the game :-p (which is nothing like the movie BTW, its fairly cool though). Will post wat i r8 l8er.

I also have a feeling that we may all be viewing the 3D versions with different technologies, which is y some ppl are complaining about the colour difference between both movies. The older 3D technology uses glasses which have 1 lense shaded red and the other shaded blue which i seem to remember made the 3D movies suck in terms of colour. The new 3D technology though uses classes with 2 slightly darkened lenses and don't affect colour in any way. This is how i'm going to c it tomorrow, dunno how the 3D works at ur guys cinemas though, post and maybe we can c a noticeable difference

I saw it at IMAX with the gray slightly tinted glasses - not the red/blue ones.

Re: AVATAR - 3D vs 2D

I went to see the movie the past weekend in 3D. It was great. It was not the best 3D movie I have seen in my life
but I realy enjoyed the movie. Not because it was 3D but because of the story.
