After a long wait, it was finally released yesterday. Son o'mine is one happy camper right now, he got the Prestige Edition (from his own money, not mine) which includes the night goggles, but for $150.00 it would want to include something as nifty as these. He absolutely loves it, so much so, that I might give it a shot myself, and I'm really not a big gamer, but this looks really promising.

I'm not sure what all you can see - if you see all of the cheats and trainers. I'm a lifetime member on this site, if ya don't see them then let me know and I'll see what I can do to help you 
It is a great game!
The game is fantastic in just about every way. I just got so I need a little more time but so far so great.
The little points that whoever was reviewing the game for are stupid though, he's obviously a PC game enthusiast(I didn't know they still existed).
"Console like Restrictions"?? Are you kidding me? First person shooters have been more consistant and user friendly on consoles for over 2 generations now. That statement might have held some water back when Goldeneye for the N64 hit over 10 years ago, but since then shooters on the PC are not better by any means.
Besides that he peppers it with things like "subtle anti war themes" and "makes them think about its consequences"...Umm no and hell no on those 2 accounts.
Sorry for the rant but I just can't stand 99% of video game reviewers nowadays, I swear they're worse then movie reviews..every one of them seem to have gone to the same school for writing that focuses on trying to(and failing) make yourself look smart and not telling enough/not telling the truth about the game.
Ok back to the point: Go out and buy this if you FPS games, its probably the best one to come around since..uh, Modern Warfare 1

I agree - generally if they say it SUCKS then its pretty darn good and if they love it I find they generally SUCK! Same goes for movies.
My kids love it! I forget its on other platforms besides PC (my kids play it on PC). Cheathappens.com has other trainers and cheats besides pc - they cover them all (FYI)
I have always played the PC versions so I can't really say which is better, but the PC one's have also been fantastic. I have played all COD's up until this one, all were amazing, and some other FPS types that were and are great are Battlefield 1942 + all it's mods, BF2, all of that series. Great FPS PC games.
It's not bad to play on PC, it's just that "PC gamers" have always had this high and mighty attitude when it comes to consoles that makes no sense at all really.
It used to be years ago that PC games dominted with FPS games in terms of controls and graphics, but since the ps2/XBOX
I hardly ever game on the PC and if anyone wants to go ahead, but they're the ones that have talked smacked for years and it's just outright ridiculous at this point. There just isn't a single good reason if you're a gamer to perfer a PC to a console, specifically the XBOX 360
I hear Starcraft 3 is supposed to be done soon. Personally, I think the RTS genre is dead. Or at least I got my fill of it after it over-saturated the market years ago. Age Of Empires series, Command & Conquer series, Warcraft and Starcraft series, and the 900 other copycats that came out around that time, I loved Starcraft, but don't know if i have it in me at this point to sit through another single player campaign on one of those. And hopefully it overcomes the one glaring flaw in the multiplayer versions of RTS's, where all you really need to do, is build up a million of one type of good unit, and swarm the other player until the game is over.
And there needs to be another good, new Football game for the PC. I hear they stopped making the Madden series for PC, preferring consoles. Same with a good combat flight sim. I just stick with PC games to save the hundreds of extra dollars on a new system and it's games.

Its actually not that big of a deal to most moders, all they would ahve to do is buy a core(cheapest system with no hard drive) and attach the old hard drive to it and you're good to go. The only thing you'd really have to get are the games you play online a lot like Call Of Duty, but for stuff that doesn't matter if you play online or not, like most RPG's, you could still attach the hard drive to the bricked system and just make sure it never touches the internet.
if they REALLY wanted to screw people they would ban their gamer tag, this way they'd lose all of their points and downloaded content
Man, I just got done playing Call of Duty 4, Modern Warfare (The first one) finally. Insanity from start to finish. Great scripting and storyline, and just about every type of mision and role you can think of. Seemed fairly short though. I finished it in about two nights of playing for a few hours each. So far every Call Of Duty series games has been top notch.
I just got Modern Warefare 2 now too, so I'll be playing that one real soon.
