Looky Looky fellow Burton fans. I have some newly released photos of Tim Burton's interpretation of Alice in Wonderland set to be released in 2010. Depp as The Mad Hatter and Elfman composing the musical score.. I cannot wait
I them all with the exception of Wonka. That one was a bit way too out there for me. It is really hard to narrow his work down to just one but I would have to say Nightmare Before Christmas:
Sometimes I really think we could be sisters - Same here - I hated Wonka (really hated it) but I love his other work. Actually I think my fav of his was Edward Scissorhands.
I loved Edward Scissorhands.... Remember that part where his "father" has a heart attack or something and dies in front of him just after telling him that he was gonna give him hands and Edward tries to grab them but ends up slicing them up?
That part makes me cry...
I forgot about that part
I know that movie is so good and pulls at heart strings.
should come as no surprise that i CANNOT wait for this! i Tim Burton movies and i really Johnny Depp. and obviously anything to do with Alice in Wonderland is a favorite of mine...
my favorite Burton movie? hard to say. i also LOVE The Nightmare before Christmas...but i LOVE his Batman movies, Sleepy Hollow, Beetlejuice, Sweeney Todd...uhhh..i could keep going. i don't think i can pick a favorite. most of his movies are fantastical!
And some more... Just for my girlie!
Helena Bonham Carter as the Red Queen
Anne Hathaway as The White Queen
omg i them!!! they can't release this film fast enough for me...i MUST see it! yay!
Ohhh ok Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham are freaky looking. Great makeup and costumes!
Anne Hathaway looks amazing.
I've always been a fan of Tim Burton, he has an unmistakable aesthetic quality to his stuff and Alice In Wonderland is a perfect fit for it. While its not my favorite story(I always found it too trippy and I don't dig trippy) I'll still check it out.
My favorite stuff from him....tough to choose because I like all the ones I do for the same reasons, but I really liked Nightmare Before Christmas and Sweeny Todd. I also thought the 2 Batman movies were pretty good and Sleepy Hollow I always wanted to see brought to the screen so that was cool too
tap tap tap.. is this thing on?
I them all with the exception of Wonka. That one was a bit way too out there for me. It is really hard to narrow his work down to just one but I would have to say Nightmare Before Christmas:
(The music by Elfman was fantastic too!)
