Good Morning

OK why does it seam that weekends go by so fast yet weekdays drag? Ok lets see my list of things to do this weekend was long and well I got a few things done but left thinking ugh I really needed to do this and that. That is ok some of the things that have been on the back burner got done so I'm happy in the end. I've been saying for the past month I wanted to learn wordpress and I finally started to play with that. Still lots to learn but I'm having fun.

Today is the start of the hurricane season, joys for those of us who live in the south. That is what we need with all of that oil out there is a hurricane, what a disaster that would be. Meanwhile get this BP would like folks to call them and give them suggestions on how to stop it. CLICKY I have a suggestion "PLUG THE F***ING WELL"

I dunno about you all but I'm so ready for my kids school to end, bring on the summer. Hope everyone had a great Memorial Day weekend, I know I did.

I haven't writen in here for a while so I thought I would start this thread back up. I hope everyone had a great 4th of July. We did even though it rained. We still managed to have a BBQ and shot off a ton of fireworks. The neighbors came over and the kids swam in the pool.

Now its dealing with the mess that we couldn't see last night in the back yard then off to the mall for some of the sales.

Well I haven't posted in here is a while so I thought I would breath some life back into this thread. I dunno something about sitting down with a nice hot cup of coffee and saying "Good Morning my computer friends"

Well my kids are back in school - its day two. I did have to laugh next week we have our first teacher work day...seriously?!?! So far so good, they like their teachers however that can change. My oldest went to get his parking pass so he could once again drive to school and they changed the rules around. Now you have to have 20 hrs of community service (along with the $50.) to get one. I was like "You have to be kidding". I then discovered the fastest way to get community hours is to donate pet food to Animal Care and Control (at least in my area). I guess one of the ways you can volunteer is to "collect food" or AKA go and buy food to donate. Not just any food, they are picky and want the expensive stuff you can only get at the vet. I ran to Walmart and the only thing on the list that they sold was the kitten food so 50 cans later he has his 20 hours. They joys of being a parent!

Ok I don't know about you all but I'm ready for some Fall weather - its too hot!

Good Morning (I think)

Normally I wake up BEFORE my alarm goes off so I kinda mentally get ready to crawl out of bed before I have to. This morning I was dead asleep when it blasted which isn't very nice. Today I will be living off of coffee. I was up way to late last night. My server on my site basically crashed due to my traffic being to heavy so I had to move everything over to a new (larger) dedicated server that can handle it. I guess I should be happy but I'm too tired. I still have to change around emails info so for now that is screwed up.

I went to drive my two oldest to school today (still waiting on my son's parking pass) and my oldest told me "Mom you can not drive us to school in a convertible wearing a nightgown!!!!". Soooooooo I played nice and changed. I think any child that has to be at school before 7am the parent should have the right to drive them in jammies.

Ok more coffee needed!!!
