when I'm sitting in my computer chair working, my cat likes to come up behind me, meow and do a "stretch" while he's digging his front claws into my cloth chair. No matter how many times I yell at him "NO!" and push him away from the chair as soon as he starts it, he just keeps doing it the next time anyway. Any ideas anyone??

My best friend uses plain old double sided tape.
I would use my water bottle. It may take a while for them to get the message, but they will learn. I have not had much luck with bitter sprays for cats.

Well I think I know what I would do, but this is probably better left to actual cat owners
I cat sat once for a cousin of mine who ruined my blinds amongst a few other things, never again. Not a cat fan at ALL!
