Have you ever started off investigating one topic and it takes you in a different direction? Well that is what happened here. I started off investigating a rumor that Google is in the works of cranking out a social website called "Google Me" I read about it on VentureBeat where they talk about how Google plans to go against Facebook.

So being the investigator that I am I went googling the "Google Me' and I found a clip on it but it wasn't the social site....

See that is where the story takes the change. How cool is this guy to search and meet other folks with the same name. I searched my name but because my name (really last name) is unique there is sadly no others. However when I searched my maiden name there were bunches. About 13,000,000 results (0.41 seconds). I found everything from a speed skater to a Realtor to a musician. Way to many for me to search out that is for sure.

However if I google smartmom I do get a kick out of checking out the other "smartmom's" who are authors, jewelry maker, a coupon queen and I even found one who did a blog that basically she poured her heart and soul out on. That smartmom was going though a rough time in her life and well I reached out to her and now we chat and are what I would say friends.

So go for it Google away and see what you find, you never know.....
